After graduating from the University of the District of Columbia at the top of his class, Dr. Boucrée began his medical journey with a dual focus on dentistry and medicine, completing 4 years of dental school at the University of Southern California followed by an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center at UCLA. In 2007, he went on to obtain his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville 2007, followed by a planned focus on plastic surgery, his true passion. Dr. Boucrée completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the Henry Ford Medical Center in Detroit. He completed fellowships in three areas, including the prominent Craniofacial Fellowship at Miami Children’s Hospital under world-renowned plastic surgeon, S.A. Wolfe, MD, where he received extensive facial and esthetic plastic surgery training.

Dr. Boucrée is extensively published, including chapters in Ferraro’s Fundamentals Of Maxillofacial Surgery and Dallas Rhinoplasty: Nasal Surgery By The Masters, Third Edition, and articles such as Exploring The Extended Latissimus Dorsi Myocutaneous Flap and Posterior Iliac Bone Graft; How Much Is Enough. He has traveled internationally to present, including guest lecturing at the Shandong Provincial Hospital in Jinan, China. Like his lectures, his mission work has taken him all over the world, providing reconstructive surgery to people in China, Mexico, and Jamaica.

“An educated man who has acquired much knowledge is in the best position to help heal the world.” This is a quote from Henry Ford that Dr. Boucrée lives by, but adds that comprehensive patient care must equal proficiency. His ongoing dedication to patients, balanced with his expertise, makes Dr. Boucrée a welcomed addition The Plastic Surgery Center and The Institute for Advanced Reconstruction.
